Established in 1979, Fencabs is the oldest taxi company in Ely, Cambridgeshire. History
Fencabs was founded by a Mr Fred Doughty in 1979 and enjoyed many successful years in business before being sold on in 2006. After passing through the hands of various owners, the current owners took over in August 2015. Born and bred in the local area, our owners put their stamp on their new business venture by investing vastly in a new fleet of eco-friendly hybrid cars and we have continued to grow our reputation.
Taking our role in the community seriously, we have also supported various fundraising events for local schools, charities, and sports clubs. During the pandemic in 2020, we have further helped out in the local area by offering free prescription runs and food bank runs for our valued customers.
